Buxton camp 2014

From Sarah: A few of us got together for the last camp of the season, the weather was resolutely British but fortunately we (or at least Liz) had the foresight to pick the Bull i' th' thorn pub as our campsite.

It's a fantastic pub with some frankly bonkers exhibits including a suit of armour and a replica skeleton, specifically a replica of the skeleton of Jospeph Millner, a former resident who was hung in Nottingham in 1751 for robbery.

There has been a pub or Inn on the site since 1472. Theres a couple of large camping fields out the back with plenty of space for our camp and mercifully for the other campers they were a good distance away from our drumming... We thanked the elements for being there (and they were there in full force) and drummed through some impressive down pours. Hooray for a very tasty and sizeable cooked breakfast in the pub the next morning.
